What is Sport TKD?

The Williamsburg Sport Tae Kwon Do League has been developed by Instructors, Athletes and Coaches with over 30 years of training, coaching and competitive experience.  The League is a community-based program with an emphasis on activeness, personal development and overall sportsmanship.  The program has been private for nearly 30 years and is just now open to the public.

The Sport TKD League is open to all individuals with or without experience between the ages 6 – 17.  The League is separated into three divisions; Developmental Division: ages 6 – 9, Future Champs Division: ages 10 – 13 and Champs Division: 14 – 17.

No one sits the bench in this League.  From start to finish, the Sport TKD League provides action-packed age appropriate training, match simulations, on/off-site training sessions, rules & regulation review, competitions and systematic advancement from novice to world class.

“In a League of its’ own”, the Sport Tae Kwon Do League brings a new era to Individual/Team sports.  Not only is Sport TKD great for the participant in his/her own right, it works wonders as a fundamental training tool supplement for ALL sports in every cycle: in-season, pre-season and post-season.

Each Sport TKD division is designed to enhance every participant’s knowledge and performance. Age specific skills are taught in a safe, fun and educational manner to ensure optimal learning. Each class is taught by a Certified Instructor who is also a Veteran Athlete of the sport.
