- The World Tae Kwon Do Federation (WTF) – The most highly accredited and largest Tae Kwon Do organization in the world. The WTF is responsible for governing affiliated countries, schools and instructors in the art, science, education and sport of Tae Kwon Do. In addition, it is the Tae Kwon DO organization responsible for the functioning and execution of major International Tae Kwon Do Championships, including the Olympics.
- United States of America Tae Kwon Do (USAT) – The US governing body for the Olympic Sport of Tae Kwon Do and responsible for affiliated WTF schools within the US. Responsible for hosting state, regional and national championships to select athlete representatives for the US Tae Kwon Do Team. Such team is the only US Tae kwon Do Team that can represent the USA in Pan Am Championships, Collegiate World Championships, Sr. World Championships, Sr. Pan Am Championships and the Olympic Games. In addition this organization is responsible for certifying World Certified Black Belts through the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.
- The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) – A nationally run non-profit organization aimed at providing venues of competition for all sports. Tae kwon Do is the fastest growing sport within the AAU with close to 20,000 athletes, coaches, and officials. Affiliated with other organizations and practically all sports, the AAU is the second largest Tae Kwon Do organization in the US.
- Virginia District Tae Kwon DO (VDT) – Under the AAU, the country is divided into districts and regions. It is the responsibility of each district to host a qualifying championship that would allow its’ participants to represent its’ District at the National Championships. In addition, it is the District Chairs responsibility to address, consult and enhance awareness of the sport throughout its’ state.
- Virginia State Tae Kwon Do Association (VSTA) – Each state has its’ own group of USAT affiliated schools. Such an association is responsible for holding sate-wide championships and coordination efforts to achieve better levels of communication and success with Tae Kwon Do and its’ state.
- Coaches Instruction development Program (CIDP) – Developed by US Olympic team Coaches, this program is a pathway for coaches that wish to progress to become a US National team Coach. Under the USAT organization, coaches must continue education through goal-specific training courses and performance and aptitude test.
- National Association of Professional Martial Artist (NAPMA) – A world-wide association of like-minded martial arts school owners, instructors and professionals aimed towards educating its’ members. With annual and monthly services, industry leaders and professionals discuss the most recent topics and innovative ideas that enhance the overall martial arts experience.
- Worldwide Tae Kwon Do Institute (WTI) – A world-wide training program designed by the Olympic Coach with the purpose of educating and training athletes in the Olympic Sport of Tae Kwon Do. Participants learn skills and techniques used by the Olympic Coach via satellite training as well as personal training services. BAEPLEX is proud to have the exclusive rights and ownership as well as distributorship of such a program.
