Teen years are filled with growth, challenges, and big transitions. At BAEPLEX, we understand parents want activities that keep their teens Active, Confident, Focused, and surrounded by Positive Influences. Our Teen Leadership Program combines the benefits of martial arts education with leadership skills that carry into School, Friendships, Sports, and Future Careers.
Martial arts should be way more than Kicks and Punches… In a positive training environment, teens learn discipline, accountability, communication, and respect. They begin to understand that leadership is not about being the loudest person in the room — it is about setting the example, encouraging others, and staying committed even when things get difficult. At BAEPLEX we promote this through a “Leading by Example” concept.

One of the biggest benefits of martial arts for teens is Confidence. Often people think of little kids as being less confident or unsure of themselves. In fact, most teens feel the exact same way. By providing a path to noticeably improve their skills and overcome challenges, they begin believing in themselves in a healthy and empowering way. That confidence often carries over into the classroom, social situations, and everyday decision-making. Teens who once struggled to speak up or try new things often become more motivated, responsible, and willing to lead.
BAEPLEX fosters a strong positive peer groups. Teens in our program train alongside others who are working equally as hard toward their own goals. As such, they are also supporting each other and learning the value of teamwork. We feel that in a world filled with distractions and negative influences, having a community built around encouragement and growth can make a huge difference.
Leadership opportunities naturally grow as students progress and BAEPLEX has the perfect way to nurture such skills. Older teens often a provided a series of hands-on experiences to practice leadership. With the guidance of our senior Leadership Team, these experiences help mentor younger students, assist instructors, and learn how to guide others with patience and positivity. These opportunities teach real-world skills like communication, responsibility, and problem-solving — all while keeping fitness fun and engaging.

For most parents, martial arts offers peace of mind or an activity, but it is so much more. The right program can provide an important support system to strengthen character and healthy life-style habits. It can teach teens how to navigate unwanted conflicts or challenges and do so in a safe learning environment. At BAEPLEX, they are not simply participating in an activity, they are a part of a community focused on growth, character, and leadership.
Our Teen Leadership Program uses the Martial Arts Education to helps teens become stronger not only on the mat, but in life. The lessons learned through our training are designed to inspire confidence, resilience, and leadership skills that stay with them for years to come.
